In order to detect the abnormal excess leakage of combustible gas in time, so that the staff can deal with the leakage and prevent or eliminate the explosion. The gas station should be equipped with a combustible gas detection and alarm system for hidden dangers of accidents. Because the compressed natural gas bottle room or the LPG storage tank, air pump and compressor room (shed) of the gas station are the key areas for combustible gas storage and filling operations. It is most likely to leak and accumulate flammable gas, so a flammable gas detection device should be installed.
With reference to the relevant regulations of “Design Specifications for the Detection of Combustible and Toxic Gases in Petrochemical Enterprises” (SH 3063), the set value of the combustible gas detection alarm (high limit) should be less than or equal to 25% of the lower limit concentration (volume fraction) value of the combustible gas explosion . The alarm system should be installed in the duty room or the control room, so that the operator can get the alarm in time.
