L-CNG is generally referred to as the main station; this article is about the city LNG network that provides the origin for the filling station.

The source of CNG is LNG, which is then compressed and pressurised to become high pressure CNG, with pressures as high as 20 MPa; LNG can be sourced in two ways, either through the city LNG network, which provides the source of gas for the refuelling station, or through storage in LNG storage tanks;

The process is as follows:
LNG is purified and desulphurised through a pressure regulation and metering system, then dewatered, then passed through a high-pressure compressor unit to reach 20-25Mpa, and then through a sequential control panel (high, medium and low), the CNG is transferred to the CNG dispenser, and finally buses, taxis, and private cars can be refuelled through the CNG dispenser.
