For pressure vessels with insulation layers or other covering layers on the outside, if the insulation materials have no corrosive effect on the wall materials, or the container shell has an anti-corrosion layer, the insulation layers may not be removed if the insulation layers are intact. However, if leakage or other signs that may cause corrosion are found, at least part of the insulation layers should be removed at the suspicious locations for inspection.
