The production of the low-temperature carbon dioxide storage tank has been completed, as there are many welds between the steel plates. In order to ensure the quality of the tank’s subsequent use, it is necessary to conduct weld inspection and some special treatments on the low-temperature storage tank to ensure its stable operation. Weld inspection: After conducting non-destructive testing (RT) first, perform penetration inspection and gas pressure (pure nitrogen) test. Use a “helium mass spectrometer leak detector” to perform helium mass spectrometry leak detection on each weld and joint.
