Epoxy acetylene gas cylinder

Storage of gas cylinders:
2.1 The user shall not store more than three acetylene cylinders on site.
The distance between the storage station and the location of open flames or sparks shall not be less than 15m.
2.3 The storage station should have good ventilation, cooling and other facilities, avoid direct sunlight, ensure smooth transportation roads, and be equipped with dry powder or carbon dioxide fire extinguishers nearby (carbon tetrachloride fire extinguishers are strictly prohibited).
When storing acetylene cylinders, they should be kept in an upright position and equipped with anti tipping measures.
2.5 It is strictly prohibited to store flammable materials such as oxygen cylinders in the same room.
2.6 The storage station should be managed by a dedicated person, and warning signs such as “No Smoking” should be set up in prominent places

Oxyacetylene is mainly used in the manufacture of glycols (raw material for polyester fibres), synthetic detergents, non-ionic surfactants, disinfectants, grain fumigants, antifreezes, emulsifiers, and glycol-containing products, as well as in the production of plasticisers, lubricants, rubbers, and plastics, and as fuel for jet propulsion such as rockets.
