LPG filling stations have the function of storage, and the storage capacity and storage method depend on different factors. Among them, the storage capacity of LPG can be determined according to factors such as gas load, composition of users, number of gas sources, distance between LPG station site and gas source, and transportation mode.

Storage methods can be divided into: above-ground LPG storage tank storage, underground gas storage storage and solid-state storage. Among them, stratum storage has the advantages of large storage capacity, less investment, and less steel consumption, and has received good economic results. It has been widely used abroad and has preliminary applications in China.
