LPG storage tank heat treatment welding review

Our LPG dispensers are divided into two categories for filling vehicles and cylinders, with cylinders for filling vehicles being subdivided into scale filling, filling scales and filling machines.

Tank Installation: A minimum clearance is required. (referred to as the distance between tanks) between a tank and a building, surrounding or fixed source of ignition. This must be checked when installing the tank.

Thermometer: When the temperature of the liquefied petroleum gas storage tank rises, the pressure in the storage tank increases accordingly.

Strict quality appraisal of the product’s material of pressurised components, external dimensions and weld quality, operation quality, installation quality, internal devices and safety attached.

Automatic alarm device: Storage tanks with a volume of 100 square meters or more should be equipped with a liquid level indicator and a pressure gauge with a remote display.

As liquid LPG is lighter than water, the water injected into the tank will hold the LPG to the water surface, isolating the LPG from the leak. At this point, the main spray from the leak is water rather than pure LPG, and then other methods are used to plug the leak. In the process of plugging the leak, the release valve at the top of the tank can be opened to release the gaseous LPG, which is less likely to form a hazard and reduces the pressure in the tank.

In the LPG tank hydrostatic test area should be organized for risk identification of relevant personnel, for the identification of sources of risk to develop targeted control measures.
