Step 1: Gas Cleaning – The extracted natural gas or related gas from gas fields or oil wells is brought up for cleaning using filtration techniques. Impurities are totally removed at this stage, leaving behind a hydrocarbon mixture (methane, ethane, propane, and so on).

Step 2: Gas Separation – Using compression, absorption, or cooling, each kind of gas is separated from the hydrocarbon mixture created in Step 1.
Step 3: Blending – The separated liquefied butane and propane are blended in appropriate quantities to meet various demands (for example, 30:70 and 40:60 ratios for cooking fuel, 50:50 for battery production fuel, and so on).
