A safety solenoid valve should be provided between the gas gun and the gas dispenser. Installed in the normal use position, the device should be separated and closed at both ends when subjected to the specified over-tension. Unless a hazard assessment has been made, it should be installed in a position where no torque is applied. The safety disconnect valve shall pass the test in accordance with 5.7. If the safety disconnect valve is designed to be anchored to the dispenser or to the ground, the anchor should be able to withstand a pull force of 750 N.
