Application of safety valve

The calculation of the minimum cross-sectional area of the safety valve exhaust must meet the following requirements. Provide a drain pipe for the safety valve. The safety valve outlet of the above-ground storage tank should be higher than the tank’s operating platform and not less than 5 m above the floor. The safety valve outlet of the underground storage tank should be not less than 2.5 m above the floor. Install an elbow or rain cover at the upper end of the manhole or combined manhole to prevent water from accumulating inside the pipe.
