LNG storage tank performance characteristics
The boiling point of liquefied natural gas under normal pressure is -160℃.
The boiling point of liquefied natural gas under normal pressure is -160℃. The storage tank needs to have good low temperature resistance and excellent cold preservation performance, so that the operating pressure of the liquid storage tank is slightly higher than the normal pressure, the thickness of the tank wall is reduced, and the safety performance is improved.
Double-wall structure: The storage tank adopts a double-wall structure. The concept of blocking is used. When the first layer of the tank leaks, the second layer of the tank can completely block the leaking liquid and evaporation gas to ensure storage safety.
Earthquake resistance: The storage tank must have good earthquake resistance. The construction site generally avoids earthquake fault zones. Before construction, the storage tank must be subjected to earthquake resistance tests to analyze the structural performance of the storage tank under dynamic conditions to ensure that the tank is not damaged under a given earthquake intensity.
