Daily Inspection of LNG Storage Tanks
Regularly inspect the outer tank of the storage tank to check for cracks, deformation, corrosion, etc., especially welds, joints, etc.
Regularly inspect the outer tank of the storage tank to check for cracks, deformation, corrosion, etc., especially welds, joints, etc. At the same time, check whether the insulation layer of the storage tank is intact, whether there is any shedding, damage, etc., to prevent heat from affecting the temperature and pressure of the LNG in the storage tank.
Check the liquid level gauge daily to ensure that it can accurately display the liquid level in the storage tank so as to grasp the storage volume of the storage tank in time.
Regularly calibrate the pressure gauge to ensure its accuracy and reliability, and keep abreast of the pressure changes in the storage tank.
Check all kinds of valves of the storage tank, such as the inlet valve, outlet valve, safety valve, vent valve, etc., to ensure that they are flexible, well sealed, and leak-free. For valves that have not been operated for a long time, regular activities should be performed to prevent valve failure.
