Technical requirements and safety valve characteristics of CO2 storage tanks

By Manager
Date: Apr 20, 2020
The carbon dioxide storage tank has the advantages of no welding, no leakage, light weight, impact resistance, corrosion resistance and long life. The technical requirements are as follows:

1. The shape of the pot is preferably cylindrical. The cylindrical shape is superior to the cubic shape in terms of the mechanical structure of the tank, the amount of materials used, and the floor area, and there is no dead angle, which is convenient for dredging and silting.
2. The upper cover and lower bottom should be shallow tapered. The function of the upper cover is to scatter water, and the cone angle can be slightly smaller; the function of the lower bottom is to converge, and the cone angle should be slightly larger.
3. To prevent the colony group brought by precipitation to cause the admixture fermentation to deteriorate. However, a curved arc exhaust pipe (with the opening facing down) should be installed on the upper cover to facilitate the exhaust of the admixture into the warehouse and the small amount of fermentation gas to be discharged at any time, so as not to expand the tank and ensure that the workers enter the storage tank for cleaning operations. Security.

The cryogenic liquid carbon dioxide storage tank adopts "combination and safety system valves", which use two sets of safety valves to work at the same time. When the safety valves are regularly checked, one side can be closed, and the other side can continue to work to ensure the safe operation of the storage tank.
The upper part of the inner container of the storage tank is equipped with a pressure gauge, a differential pressure level gauge and a liquid level comparison table, which can keep track of the storage capacity and pressure changes of the inner container at any time, which is convenient for the operation during filling and discharging.

The bottom of the storage tank is equipped with a special storage tank vacuum test, vacuum gauge and vacuum valve. The vacuum level of the interlayer can be detected regularly or at any time with a vacuum gauge to ensure the safe operation of the CO2 storage tank.
