Date: Jul 23, 2020
SF double-layer oil tanks can effectively store a large amount of oil. SF double-layer oil tanks have many precautions during use. We generally use SF double-layer oil tanks when transporting oil, so SF double-layer oil tanks need to be installed before oil transportation. So what conditions should be met when installing the SF double-layer oil tank correctly?

When the oil tank is stored for a long time, it should be stored in a dry and ventilated place without sunlight; it is forbidden to mix with hazardous substances and keep it away from fire. When the oil tank is temporarily stored at the installation site before installation, it should be placed on a temporary wooden bracket and avoid sharp objects on the ground.

When oil tanks are stored indoors, fixed objects such as wooden wedges and sandbags should be placed on both sides to prevent the pressure vessel from rolling. When the oil tank is stored outdoors, the oil tank should be fixed in a suitable way to prevent the oil tank from being blown by strong wind. It is strictly forbidden to drop or roll the SF double-layer oil tank during transportation and storage.

The installation of the oil tank should strictly follow the installation instructions provided by the pressure vessel manufacturer. Before installation, the SF double-layer oil tank should be visually inspected. The visual inspection should include the following: The outer surface of the oil tank should be smooth and smooth, and there should be no impurities, exposed fibers, cracks, scratches, and defects.

There should be no scratches, abrasions or bruises on the outer surface of the SF double-layer oil tank with a length greater than 10mm and a depth greater than 1mm. The integrity of the delivery documents of the pressure vessel shall be checked before the installation of the oil tank. If there is any objection, necessary re-inspection shall be carried out, and installation shall not be carried out if the re-inspection is unqualified.

Backfill materials should be placed at the bottom of the SF double-layer oil tank. The backfill materials should be neutral yellow sand or fine soil; during winter construction, there should be no frozen blocks in the backfill materials; the backfill materials should be tamped and flat as the base bed of the oil tank. The relative density of the bed should not be less than 96%, and the thickness of the base bed should not be less than 300mm. The oil tank should be placed horizontally on the foundation bed and placed in the middle of the anchor room. When multiple tanks are arranged, the distance between the outer surfaces of adjacent oil tanks shall not be less than 500mm.
