Use of liquid nitrogen tank

Whether it is industrial-grade liquid nitrogen or food-grade liquid nitrogen, there are some precautions when using liquid nitrogen tanks. Today we will understand the use of liquid nitrogen tanks!
1. Before use
Before filling the cryogenic nitrogen storage tank with liquid nitrogen, we should first check whether the tank body has dents and whether the vacuum pump outlet is intact. If it is crashed, the vacuum value will be reduced. When it is more serious, the air inlet cannot be insulated, so the upper end of the tank will be frosted, and the liquid nitrogen will be consumed greatly, and the use value of reuse will be lost. Secondly, check the inside of the tank. If there is any dirt, remember to remove it to prevent the inner tank from being corroded.
2. When using
(1) Filling method of liquid nitrogen. Be cautious when filling liquid nitrogen. For new tanks or tanks in dry conditions, it is necessary to fill up slowly and carry out pre-cooling to prevent the inner tank from being damaged by the temperature reduction too quickly, and to reduce the application period. When filling liquid nitrogen, it is not necessary to pour the liquid nitrogen on the outlet of the vacuum pump to prevent the vacuum value from being reduced. The cover plug is made of thermal insulation materials, so try to avoid damage when switching the power supply to increase the service life; the cover plugs of the different neck liquid nitrogen tanks cannot be mutually used to avoid the internal pressure caused by the tightness of the closed type. High and destroy the storage tank to avoid excessive consumption of liquid nitrogen due to excessive clearance.
(2) Inspection of liquid nitrogen filling process. Always check during the entire application process. You can observe with your eyes and you can touch the case with your hands. If you find frost on the surface, you should stop using it. It is not suitable to use a fruit knife to scrape when the inner cavity of the neck tube is frosted and frozen, to prevent serious damage to the inner cavity of the neck tube, resulting in poor vacuum. The liquid nitrogen should be removed and allowed to melt of course. To check the total amount of liquid nitrogen in the liquid nitrogen tank, you can use the weighing method or the thin stick probe method: the weighing method is to weigh the net weight of the empty tank before using it, and then weigh the net weight again after filling the liquid nitrogen, and then every period of time. Weigh the net weight once to measure the quality of the liquid nitrogen at that time; the thin stick detection method is to insert a solid plastic rod or a thin wooden stick into the bottom of the liquid nitrogen tank and take it off later. The length of the frost is the length of the frost. For the aspect ratio of liquid nitrogen, if a hollow metal hose is used for accurate measurement, the metal material should be blocked with a cotton ball to make it poorly ventilating to prevent the liquid nitrogen from spraying out of the tube to death.
3. After use
The liquid nitrogen tank should be stored in a cool and dry place with good natural ventilation, without direct exposure to natural light. Because of its high-precision manufacturing and characteristics, no matter in application or storage, liquid nitrogen tanks are prohibited from skewing, horizontal, upside-down, stacking, colliding with each other or colliding with other objects. Make sure to handle it carefully and keep it continuously. Stand up.
